This website sells bottled wines online.

  1. Age Restriction
    The purchaser of products on this website undertakes that they are of legal age (18 years or older in South Africa) to purchase alcoholic beverages sold on this website.
  1. Delivery policy
    Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 working days and delivery confirmed by email.
  1. Export restriction
    The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
  1. Return and Refunds policy
    Mountain Ridge Wines’ products are subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Mountain Ridge Wines will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% administration fee.

    Mountain Ridge Wines shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).     Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Mountain Ridge Wynkelder (Pty) Ltd bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
  1. Card acquiring and security
    Card transactions will be acquired for Mountain Ridge Wynkelder (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

    Customer details will be stored by Mountain Ridge Wines separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site.

    The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

    Mountain Ridge Wynkelder (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

MOUNTAIN RIDGE WINES

The online wine store is for South African customers only.
Vintages for wines are subject to availability and can change without prior notice.
Order in multiples of 6 x 750ml, only.
Delivery cost:  R100 per order. Orders of R1000 and more, will be delivered free of charge.
Collection at Mountain Ridge Wines, De Liefde Pad, Wolseley, 6830 is free.

Shipping and delivery dates are estimated based on availability of wines and receipt of payment.  Orders are confirmed by email, and delivery takes approximately 10 working days.

DELIVERY POLICY
Mountain Ridge Wines may not deliver packaging containing wine to recipients younger than 18 years.  Shipments will not be delivered if the recipient do not have acceptable form of identification.

If no one is available at your requested delivery address when we deliver the products you ordered, our courier will retain the products and we will tell you about the attempted delivery. If the courier returns the products to us, you must pay for any further delivery. To avoid this happening, please consider using a business address for delivery.

We can only deliver products to physical addresses and do not deliver products to Post Office boxes.

Shipping and delivery times are estimates only based on availability of the products you ordered and receipt of your payment.  Orders are confirmed by email.  Delivery takes about 10 working days.

You may return unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), or you received damaged goods.

If you need to return an item, simply notify us via e-mail of your refund (sales@mountainridge.co.za).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper.

We are not liable for any loss occasioned by any delay in the delivery of any order.

Please note that the online wine sales from this store is only for South African delivery.

RETURN POLICY
Mountain Ridge Wines will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the user’s chosen delivery address (i.e. the state of the packaging). However, any faulty or damaged wine will be replaced with the current vintage (where applicable) and delivered at no cost.

You may return unopened products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund if the return is a result of our error (i.e. you received an incorrect or defective product), or you received damaged goods.

Mountain Ridge Wines will notify you by email of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned product.

Cancelled orders on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after deduction of a 10% charge for administration costs.

The wine is subject to availability. Mountain Ridge Wines reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. If Mountain Ridge Wines exercise this right, the user will receive a full refund with no deductions.

You should allow four weeks for a refund from the time of giving your package to the shipper.

REFUND POLICY
Where you have paid by credit card, we will process any refund to the credit card used for the purchase.  In any other case, we will refund you by electronic funds transfer.
